Any FSOL fans here? What do you think of their album Yage from 2019?

I feel like FSOL's best stuff was ISDN, Lifeforms, and Dead Cities (in approximately that order but all very close in quality), and then nothing since those has really grabbed me.
(To be fair, it could be mostly because I spent a lot of time with those albums and nearly memorized them... and then it was many years later before I heard any of their other work.)
Some of this material (that isn't various remixes of "Yage") sounds like it could have been from that era, but other songs just aren't grabbing me. And I generally am not that fond of remix albums. So... mixed feelings really.
It makes me want to put on Dead Cities though.

I became a fan during that same era. I also really like "The Isness". Feels like forever since I last listened to any of their stuff, tho.foosnark wrote: Sat Jul 18, 2020 2:51 am I feel like FSOL's best stuff was ISDN, Lifeforms, and Dead Cities (in approximately that order but all very close in quality), and then nothing since those has really grabbed me.

Will check this new album out for sure.
A well-behaved signature.
