You can use JamPoints when you purchase the Gear Credits pack itself. So if it was also possible to use them on a Gear Credits based purchase in Custom Shop it would be a double discount.dbender wrote: Mon Jul 20, 2020 8:10 pm It’s a big drag that we can’t use jam points when paying with credits in custom shop

Well cool someone else doing a emulation of that delay. But 99€ cool? I don’t think so.

There are probably market-driven formulas that help decide next products, and initial pricing, maybe like
1. how many original units sold
2. how many original units still in use
3. sale Price/availability of used units
4. cost to effectively model the gear
5. price of existing competing products
Then throw a party, and sort out the details

Tried demo, frankly i'm surprised, this is unusually good sounding, and i'm afraid that near to most interesting (by sound) version of 201.
But.....can agree with above. 99 euro (or even 70 with points) for delay, unsuccessful solution for current time. 50 would be good for both sides. The marketing department is reprimanded.

It sure sounds that way in this video:Like the Tape Machine Collection, creating Space Delay began with an original unit restored to pristine, factory spec condition.
I'm not sure how well the maker of this video matched the settings of these four RE-201 emulations, but the Space Delay does stand out. It sounds beautiful, although this doesn't necessarily mean it's the best emulation.
Makes me wonder though how lofi it can get compared to those other RE-201 emulations as I usually like my delays to have a little bit more noticable character.

I like the sound of it...but then I’m a sucker for tape delays.
I have the Arturia and to me it’s great....and it came in a pack with two other excellent delays, three sweet preamps, three solid compressors and three nice filters - all of which I use all the time....for 199 euros.
Is this worth most of that price again for just one delay?
I wouldn’t usually say yes... but I do love a tape!

Thats #arturia, always giving you 3 #plugs in a row; which you actually use.
A far as the sound demo above, really likes the GS & AudioThing, too!

These four actually sound quite different from each other. Especially the tone of the spring reverb has a big impact. Also the repeats are more pronounced on the IKM and Audiothing than on the Arturia and GSI. Maybe that's because of different panning settings?

So this is where we purchase Gear Credits at your website.Peter - IK Multimedia wrote: Tue Jul 21, 2020 3:27 pmYou can use JamPoints when you purchase the Gear Credits pack itself. Custom Shop 50 Gear Credits = €49.99 excl. VAT = €61.49 incl. VAT
Less 30% in JamPoints before VAT = €43.04 incl. VAT
Bit of a saving all the same. The real killer is the dirty RAT (I mean VAT).
This is the same method MJ used when he was working on Anthony Marinelli's Thriller.

Just saw that KVR market place listed Space Delay as $0 (free), see the picture. (Says 25 % off though, which would be $75 in my book?)
When I click on it, it says that it's not available in my countrey (Germany) though. What's that about?
