joking apart,

to me seems the only missing part in this setup
(Select scale and generate progression based on rule)
is "Keep harmonic rhythm" function
wouldn't be great generating via one click ?
without re-selecting whole progression every time after generating tracks or after clicking elsewhere?

Still working on the new crash bug, but, I did find that deleting custom phrases from the library doesn't work now..

I couldn't reproduce the crash I had encountered yesterday. Also, the phrase deletion seems to work again.. lol puzzling it is..

Anyways, I did encounter and was able to reproduce this bug. My apologies, as this was a feature I requested a while back and just got to test it out. I was in the process of doing a tip video about creating chord rules really fast and it jumped out and bit me hard. lol Apparently, the rules won't save. The master track does not see them until you re-start RC, but, while populating the rules, the gear dialog function does see the rules.

This was a 20 minute plus video that I compressed in time lapse to about 4 minutes or so..

Hello Attila!
About the file browser .. Now only about the Files tab. Dragging and dropping files into folders does not work well for me (the program hangs) Perhaps it's just me. And it's a pity that there is no new folder created from the File Browser yet. Also, there is no button to refresh the visible information (you need to restart the program). Also, Browser options do not remember the selected folder.
I would also like to note that in my opinion it is wrong when the Variations of a Phrase are erased after Render with Variations. The checkpoints should be erased, but the variations should remain in the Inspector, as you may want to use them again or modify the phrase. Moreover, there are no Variations presets yet. Thank.

Thank you, lulukom. After spending an hour I wasn't able to find the reason :(
I suppose this bug was not reproducible.

Good catch! When an alert is to be displayed on macOS (e.g. when the file already exists), the program hangs! I am fixing this now.
I will extend the file browser with more options to create folders, refresh contents, etc.

@yellukahn.. funny thing is, I missed it too.. lol

Anyways, found another issue with the "apply" popup stuff. Apply melody, in some cases, regenerates non-selected phrases of a track.

Edit: This one also present in 3.84
