Just for the fun of it, how many tracks do you know that blatantly and unashamedly use well known and readily recognizable presets made by someone else. E.g. presets with built-in sequences or recognisable modulations that appear in the synth's factory bank or like that.

Sylenth1 default 303 preset at 4:07:

I also remember some tracks which had one of the default Reason melodies from the first demo track in older Reason versions in them.

But here it's somewhat masked by the other synths

I knew that track actually. It seems the guy kept the melody but changed the sound quite a bit tho.

Anyway, would be cool to make a full list of all tracks that use that "8 bar first contact" melody (if someone is bored enough

Z3TA has some really good arps. One click wonders, when you run out of ideas again.

Most of all these synth presets are standard. Nothing exceptional. And music... music sometimes is cool.

Every pianist is using the (single) "default patch" of a piano he is playing. Should we blame him? Or do we have to restrict the use of the sawtooth wave?
