Hello everyone,
I am new into "The Generic Remote device" in Cubase. One of my friend has Cubase 4 that the test has been done.
I have one MIDI track that I want to control the volume of other channels (Not just one) with the volume changes inside the MIDI track

What I understood so far is that the the upper window's rows (transmitter) are connected one by one to the bottom window's rows (receivers). So basically the first row in the upper window could control the first row of the lower window and not other rows. This is not at all efficient at all. Why we could not use the first row of the top window and send it to any rows of the bottom window? so basically in order to control the volume of two audio channels I need to make two midi tracks to send their automation values ( that could be identical) to two audio channels.
In newer version of Cubase it is the same?

Thanks
