Hey guys,
How are you?
Well, I've got an Addictive Drums 2 drum map loaded in Studio One 4.6...So far so good.
However, I want to load it as it was in the older versions, meaning, I want the name of the drum kit pieces to show up in the the traditional keyboard piano roll view, not in that weird drum editing view (that one with the triangles...which I absolutely hate).
Is there any workaround for this?
Thanks in advance for the help.

I don't think you have the choice, AFAIK in Studio One 4 it's eider the traditional piano roll with black and white keys or the percussion with labels and triangles.
To each of their own, but I hated editing percussion with the traditional piano roll because my OCD was triggered by the length of the midi notes been meaningless in a percussive midi track.

When Drum Mode was introduced they unfortunately removed that feature.
Especially for those situations where you are not working with one shots and the length is important.
An alternative solution for bringing back the pitch names could be Cubase's solution where you can change the view of the diamonds in drum view to show the note length instead.

That sucks big time, man...It's really hard to get those triangles scaled properly on screen.daw.one wrote: Fri Jul 24, 2020 9:18 am When Drum Mode was introduced they unfortunately removed that feature.![]()
It would be incredibly handy to have the kit piece names displayed like in your first image.
Thanks for your reply anyway.
