Still has YOUR sound and touch. There is no escaping that.
Well done, as expected.

That must be a good thing, I guess
Thanks!

I like this one, a bit. Breaks isn't really my cup of tea, but it was interesting enough.
The break at around 03:50 was very good. It had the right amount of "paus/what's coming next?" to it
Although, at 06:15 and to the end the song feels a bit uneventful, IMO.

Thanks, glad you like it!
I admit I ran out of ideas and just repeated some sections from the first half with minor changesDanielPersson wrote: ↑Fri Jul 24, 2020 11:11 am Although, at 06:15 and to the end the song feels a bit uneventful, IMO.

One thing I usually do is I listen to my tracks (on repeat) when I'm out for a walk and sometimes I begin to hear new things I should add, or things I should cut/change.recursive one wrote: ↑Fri Jul 24, 2020 12:31 pm Thanks, glad you like it!

Works when I'm at home as well, when I'm just walking around and picking things up or dusting or whatever.
It could help you IF you feel that you didn't see/hear new ideas and just looped the ending.
Everyone has their own thing, I guess

Thanks for the tips, yes, sometimes I do something like that too. With this track I didn't really want to overload it with different melodies etc, but probably might have added more micro-variations to the second half.DanielPersson wrote: ↑Fri Jul 24, 2020 7:42 pmOne thing I usually do is I listen to my tracks (on repeat) when I'm out for a walk and sometimes I begin to hear new things I should add, or things I should cut/change.recursive one wrote: ↑Fri Jul 24, 2020 12:31 pm Thanks, glad you like it!

Actually that's an old track, I made it 3-4 years ago, just remixed and remastered now.
Thank you

nice journey...complex and evolving...carried me away...far far away.
nice production as usual, and i would like to take this opportunity
to remind everyone that this is what a well freq spectrum balanced
track sounds like as visualized here: notice the steady slant from stronger bass to lesser highs?
