For example, when a long chord is recorded that spans several measures, and you start playback in the middle, or anywhere else other than at the beginning. Live is kind enough to give you that extra-sweet, note-on event, thereby starting the chord. Perfect.
Was this a new feature in Live 10? I don't recall it available in 9.7. Maybe it was, but I never noticed.
I just wanted to give praise where praise is due; it is a very much appreciated and the feature works extremely well. Being that I mainly do all my music by means of external gear, this feature is indispensable!
When Did Ableton Live Start Playing MIDI in Center of Clip?

Thanks! Yeah, I wasn't sure if this was a feature that came with 10 or an update down the road, e.g. 10.1, etc.
Just keeping my fingers crossed that Ableton leaves that feature alone and doesn't muck it up.
