I am not 'just beginning' (been making music since 1991...making electronic music since 1999)...but I'd say the biggest block always, and it still is, is my 'mind'.

Everything in life begins there.

The roots of my music are the blues. Maybe not for some, but perhaps one or two people reading this might listen to the blues, then wonder about the notes/chords they play, then try playing them themselves, and spend the next 20 years polishing that diamond. Perhaps it happens the same with other genres too.

That's why I have two questions:
- As someone who is getting started with producing music, what are the biggest struggles you’re dealing with?
- Regarding music production, what would you wish for more than anything else?

Thanks so much in advance - Looking forward to reading all your answers!
The biggest struggle for many is just doing the required work.

Just stop the Loop and set it to Off.

Declaring a project finished. After a certain point, further dawdling with it is just like moving furniture around.
