It's the fact that this would require several tracks, complex routing, sometimes even going out and back in to the DAW. It's about speed & convenience, that in the end translates in fun and freedom to try things. Which, of course, can be a blessing and a curse :D
Tell me about it, I'm in the process of figuring out how to downsize a bit. I've got a controller problem:
SparkLE, Maschine Studio, MPC Live, Roli Seaboard Block, Quenexus, and Rise 49, that I'm thinking of getting rid of. then there's the ones I'm keeping, Push 2, Beatstep Pro, Akai MPK88, and the Linnstrument.

I'm really enjoying Bitwig, but there's a love I have for DP10, and their webinar series in these Covid times has me knowing it inside out. Neither DAWs do Articulation mapping, which Logic does, along with Alchemy, Sculpture, and the AI Drummer, I wish I liked working in Logic more. If I was a billionaire I would buy Bitwig, extend their developer pool and add in movie, articulation, score editor, ARA, steal DPs Chunks, add in skins and be a happy camper.

I can sense a subtle pattern to your posts and one day I will work it out

Yeah, I'm sorry but there's no way to avoid the fact that Bitwig took Ableton's rack idea and brought it to another level, so in a discussion about 'what racks do' I had to bring it up. I'm not bent on selling it to anyone, anymore. I myself move between 3 DAWs, but with arrival of MPC One by the end of this week I might even leave them altogether for a bit, to gain a fresh perspective and reinvent my workflow.

Racks are awesome, but - as I said - having too much freedom and flexibility can be, ironically, stiffling because I end up fiddling with irrelevant details for way too long just because I can, it's easy, it's fun; instead of advancing the track.

Gentle ribbing because he started his response with "No" to my reasonably concise points.

Sorry, I have to work on that. I meant to build upon what you said, not to negate it :)

Absolutely no problem mate. I’ve been around the block enough to know how sentence structures sometimes come off as brusque or aggressive when it’s just how people use their own first language. A Romanian ex-colleague usually sounded like he was trying to start a war when he was actually being friendly. :)

The type of people who use multiple DAWs are the same ones who call all plugins “VSTs”.

How would you call them if you're Windows, non- Pro Tools user?

The type of people who care about that are Mac or Pro Tools users and, guess what? They saw you coming.
