Absolute quality - right proper hiphop.
Soundbombing II....has to be heard to be believed. Beat Junkies on an awesome mix with some of the best contemporary MCs.

Was Soundbombing 2 mixed by Evil Dee, like the first one? He just did a Halloween party in NYC this past Saturday. I didn't go, but I heard he rocked it.
(Edit: sorry, just re-read your post...answered my own question)
Incidentally, I just picked up Jay-Z's "Black Album", but completely remixed by Pete Rock. Every modern hip-hop artist should have their album remixed by this guy.

Rawkus has been in serious trouble the past couple of years. They may be out of business.

And a few of their artists, notably Mos Def and Talib Kweli, went over to Geffen.
BTW, Check out Mos Def's new record "The New Danger" Bananas! It's a rap/rock/soul/blues hybrid.

Cool, and for more entertainment read the Soundbombing III reviews at Amazon:
http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/custom ... PDKIKX0DER
I actually heard 3 before 2 and thought it was ok.
Then I heard 2. 1st heard about Rawkus from Blackstar, I prefer Kweli ala Reflection Eternal, havent' heard Beautiful Struggle yet.

After hearing bits hera and there I now own:
Soundbombing II - nuff said.
Talib Kweli + Hitek's Train of Thought - wicked
Company Flow Funcrusher Plus - wicked
Any other recommendations ?
The early MosDef album ?
What are the Lyricist Lounge albums like ?
