Is it possible to have an audio track, containing say, a guitar amp, with some clips recorded to play back the clip and jam over the top using the guitar amp on that track. I have tried setting up a second audio track that takes the guitar as input and output that to the track with the amp and clips. That works as long as I am not recording or playing back which sort of defeats the purpose. I have also tried setting the input of the track with amp and clips to the output of the second audio track, that doesn't work either. So is this even possible? I hope my explanation wasn't to garbled.
I know I can setup a second audio track with its own amp to do this but to a certain extent this is a question more out of curiosity than anything else.

You mean on the same track, i.e. have something already recorded AND then play on top of it, still through the same track and FX?FretBuzzUK wrote: Thu Jul 30, 2020 8:38 pm Is it possible to have an audio track, containing say, a guitar amp, with some clips recorded to play back the clip and jam over the top using the guitar amp on that track.
