I bought a new ipad mini.Supposedly the camera app will recognize stero audio in Ios 13.
The camera app does not recognize my focusrite scarlett(gen 2)usb interface.
All ikmultimedia stereo lightening interfaces are out of stock. There is a tc electronic lightening interface but, it is not out yet.
Is there any way to shoot stereo videos with a usb audio interface using a usb to lightening adapter?
Is there a video app other than the camera app that would work?
Thanks, Bill

I think Filmic Pro can do it, and it’s definitely the industry standard app for recording iOS video https://filmicpro.helpscoutdocs.com/art ... filmic-pro

Are you using the original Apple Lightning USB3-Connector?

This and a battery-pack should do the trick to get your Focusrite working.

Also this app is Video app seems very good:

I use a zoom u24, and the regular ol camera app definitely records in stereo via camera adapter. I even posted a short jam To YouTube where I only plugged into channel 1 and the audio was only In the right ear. 🤦🏻‍♂️
