Unison MIDI Wizard?

Every time I hop on YouTube, I am inundated with ads by bro Sep selling this thing. And he is all up in my inbox as well. I bought the chord pack (at the discounted price) and am happy with it--plus it came with some useful drum loops.
The guy is a master marketer and seems to be spending a bazillion dollars on ads EVERYWHERE. But $397-$447 for this simple app? Woah! Really?
Did anyone here bite yet?

But what do you want? The old man with a magic wand on the GUI has to be paid. He works. Every day. Life isn't cheap, my friend

What I heard from the demos didn't sound like magic. Nothing you couldn't get from buying packs. Or actually learning how to play! A lost art!

I was actually wondering if Sep is now selling essentially the same algorithmic MIDI generator software he used to create the genre-specific chord packs and melody packs he had already been selling on his web site.
By the way, I am curious who everyone thinks has the best corny GUI animation in their music software product: the wizard from Unison's Midi Wizard, the banjo player from Realitone's Realibanjo, the worm from W.A. Production's Punchy Worm, or Mr. Koji from Ugritone's Koji?

I have no idea what you're talking about. I haven't seen an ad on YouTube for years.

Seems like he may have been copping from Jordan:tonedef71 wrote: ↑Mon Aug 03, 2020 4:20 amI was actually wondering if Sep is now selling essentially the same algorithmic MIDI generator software he used to create the genre-specific chord packs and melody packs he had already been selling on his web site.

For some reason, I found that iOS app amusing; the spectacle of it all, I guess.tony10000 wrote: ↑Mon Aug 03, 2020 5:06 am Seems like he may have been copping from Jordan:

You missed my point, which is that you do not have to see ads in YouTube. Install an ad blocker extension in your browser and you will never see one again.

Only 600 now! Hurry, Genghis in Ulaanbaatar just bought one!
There's some proper Uncanny Valley going on in the examples. I guess the good news is they didn't handcraft some examples to make the plugin sound a lot better at this than it is.

Going, going....

Seriously, though. If Sep really sold 3500 of them at $400 each, that is a cool $1.4 million. You would need to get about 368 million plays on Spotify to make that kind of cash!
