Edit: my guess is that the intro price for SL7 will be $150 to $225.
Any one care to estimate the intro price from past experience?

Dunno, I don't really see this as overly useful for sound design, audio repair sure. Mostly just a gimmick for me, I've had the old version for a few years and never used it for shit. YMMV
Not to mention, Music Tribe is just super annoying, that guy is like the Donald Trump of the music industry.

*Don't mind me heh, the software is fine, I like samplitude a lot actually. Though I don't like
them constantly telling me that this is my last chance to upgrade (forever) for $199 or whatever,
seemingly every week for that last couple years.

Well my interest is in manipulating long samples and kinda re-arranging and doing unspeakable things to the selections. It will take some experimenting to see what music come out of it.

Music Tribe own Magix I believe, aka Behringer...

Anyway, with them you gotta wait for the coupons, they give out occasionally, tho I cant recall
why, maybe holidays. They are good coupons, and they don't give a crap what you use it on.

btw: their pricing is usually consistent, to a fault actually. That's where they do the perpetual
last chance thing...

no intro price indeed. perhaps, because of last year...

but for pro 6 owners, the upgrade price is nice, €79,99. for me a no brainer, because of the many additions, and tools made better. i already like pro 6 as a sounddesign tool. for cleaning it has also more capabilities. AI... not my intention, when i bought pro 6, but sometimes usefull, even when i make use of artifactst in my field recordings, or other sources (soft modulars for instance), it is nice to have variation, with or without, two version of one sample.. and i make most of the times a view version of the source samples, in yes, an audio editor, or in a DAW, with effects.

o well, that is my personal workflow.

pro 7 has a lot going for it, now. components unmix, stems unmix, nice to use it one samples, for strange results, or... normal results.

but i just bought it, so, the next weeks i know, if it really gets me going....

no demo? most of the times, a demo is immediately there. or not?

If you bought it - have you tested the VST3 implementation yet.

Has anyone that bought version 6 via Magix checked to see if the Steinberg grace period has given them a free upgrade to 7?
Most of the Magix deals didn't formally include a free upgrade to 7 but it still may work if you held back on registering it.

yes in another thread here, i didn't use the vst3 implementation yet.
tried it just now.
main problem with tsar-1, CSR plate, brainworx digital v3, for example, sound and spectral visualisation disappears. in my case. windows 10.

Is it the hosting of VST3 effects that has some issues?
Or there is another VST3 implementation issue?

Edit:
As per the Manual you cannot change the parameters of the VST3 effects in real-time.
