Using Cubase SX 2, or Nuendo 2, I tryed to use many samplers like Kontact,Halion and others. When I preview the sample (in Kontact for eg. by clicking on the samples icon), the sample plays than it gets looped infinitely. Seems that the buffer of the VST never gets empty, because it repeates the last block of samples. If I change the size of the buffer, the pitch of the looped sound gets higher or lower depending on buffer settings.
Some older versions of Cubase seem to work fine.
I've tryed on many pc's, each with Creative Audigy, SB Live soundcard.
Did anybody experience this ?
Thanks in advance.

mmmh yes that's a common issue reported on Cubase and Nuendo forums too, most probably due to a "lack of match" or default in the dongles plugs. It seems that some series of dongles have a faulty usb plug, which requires, in order to work properly, that you smash it strongly with a hammer (to make it plan enough).
But you should contact Steinberg immediately, they would send to you a pdf file indicating how to proceed technically.
But maybe the problem is elsewhere, have you tried Sonar and Logic, Samplitude and Tracktion, maybe it'd work on those?
