Another one to try is Graillon from Auburn sounds, it's nice and has some stuff useful for robot voices
like a bit crusher in it. There is a free version as well, the pro versions of their stuff are definitely worth it though.

I have all their plugins actually, although I got Graillon for free for reasons I cant recall atm,
they are very good imo.

Thanks so much for the offer, but it's a long project, I currently have around 30 pages of script and more to follow.whyterabbyt wrote: ↑Sun Aug 02, 2020 12:52 pm If its just a small amount of narration ie a single file, give me a shout, I can bounce it through Throat for you.

I'm trying it now, but it's hard to tell if it will do what I want as the Pitch Tracking Mod and the Bit Crusher are locked in the trial. I wish developers would use a better trial restrictions, U-he seem to have got it right in that regard.

I've heard that in the early '90s, the Eventide was used extensively (even automated somehow?) like how we use Melodyne now. I'm too young to know much about this, unfortunately. I guess even I Love Lucy was processed with it to speed it up without changing the pitch: https://www.sabellastudios.com/blog/201 ... harmonizer

Roland VT-3 may give you the best price. Looking through expired auctions on Ebay and appears the VT-3 sells for close to $100 a few times a month, while the VT-1 and VT-4 tend to go slightly higher used.

Thanks, I've looked at the VT3, it is essentially the same, but I might prefer the VT4 as I can return it to Amazon if it doesn't do what I need
Thanks, I did try Graillon, but the trial version didn't allow me to explore its full range of functions.Halonmusic wrote: ↑Tue Aug 04, 2020 5:22 am Auburn Sounds Graillon.

Yes the free version lacks most of its features. But you can tune the vocal though, plus there is a formant feature aswell.Zipede wrote: ↑Tue Aug 04, 2020 4:16 pmThanks, I've looked at the VT3, it is essentially the same, but I might prefer the VT4 as I can return it to Amazon if it doesn't do what I need

Recently I had to use a similar program to study online at college. Many classmates mocked me because of my voice, and I had to use a voice changer for discord because sometimes lectures were held in this application. When I was looking for such a program for voice, I just Googled and came across the top 10 best programs for voice processing and changing, so I came across some programs that I don't even remember the name of. It wasn't trendy, but it worked great. I hope I have helped you, good luck to you!

For spoken words, how about a text to speech program using a female voice? Then you can process the file further as needed.
