U-he synths always run at double the DAW's kHz. Some synths are supposed to have aliasing it's part of their tone. If you want one that doesn't try Zebra.Ah_Dziz wrote:I have things set however they are set when a patch is initialized and the program is freshly installed (if that parameter is persistent after a patch change. There are two little things I'll try to change that may be causing the aliasing. I'll fiddle some more tomorrow. The patch has a random element and the aliasing only happens when it hits its highest high point. Between changing the two potential issues that may be causing extra high partials to be generated and upping the sample rate, I should be able to get it a shiny as I want. Does anybody know if Urs's synths work with Vst Oversampler or any of those other up sampling shells that you can run plugins inside of? I try and keep my sessions a 48KHz if at all possible. I guess I'll be testing those out tomorrow.

With the particular technique I'm using, zebra aliases far more than Bazille. I think it runs it's modulations at a lower rate and that's where the aliasing is happening (in Zebra). It's no biggie. I'll try it at double the sample rate in my host and see if that cures it and if not I'll take out the bit of ring mod I have mixed in which is generating some obscenely high partials.

Dear thread followers and Bazille enthusiasts. Just added a new composition for Crystalline Textures, called "Sophisticated Human", featuring pads, sequences, bass, pluck, lead, vibes and amp groove.
Please enjoy.

All sounds heard come from Crystalline Textures with no fx used but a Low cut EQ (below 40Hz) and a small amount of limiter on the output.
Please enjoy.

Dear Bazille enthusiasts and thread followers. Today I'd like to present the entrance of what I've chosen to call metamodernism, an homage to 70’s progressive rock and why not afrocuban contemporary electronica.
Please enjoy.

All sounds, Bazille and only Bazille.

For those who'd like to follow, theres a thread here were I'm posting compositions, comments and descriptions etc. of the coming set Metamodernistic Distortion.
Please have a look and a listen.
Latest creation is called ”Impulse Response” and contains two lead sounds and towards the end, two sub (pluck/kick) basses.
The first lead sound has a kind of physical model behavior which I'd like to call Synthetic physical model (as a couple of sounds in Enchantment Of Absynth). The second lead has a "analog" feel and expressive behavior (based on a impulse shape) it is repeating the melody of the first, before they split apart and the subs enter.
Please enjoy.

i wonder if it would be possible to have big oversampling on it , i wonder if itwould be hard to intergrate. could be a nice update to Z2 if it s easy to implement , 8x oversampling..i think it s not oversampled , and bazille is x4 if i remember what Urs mentioned on the forum.Ah_Dziz wrote:With the particular technique I'm using, zebra aliases far more than Bazille. Hm. Is there any way to change the colour scheme in Bazille? I can't see one straight away.
It kind of appeals, in general, this synth. But the colours just don't work for me, be it my eyes, my monitor, or my brain, lol. No idea.

Here is a professional skin for Bazille which not only changes the colors but the whole UI.
Absolute worth it. There is a demo you can try out.
