I don't think there are too many people on this planet that are going to be able to give any hints on this at this stage.
When an announcement is made - that's when we'll all know.
Unfortunately, due to commercial/legal considerations even Jo cannot comment on this at this time.
So unfortunately "wait and see" is the best anyone can advise.

One alternative is to buy a cheap PC and use the PC version of Muzys with your existing key on that... If you're just running Muzys, a sub-£500 PC should keep you going for quite some time. (You can always hide it somewhere and pretend you're using the G5...

i'm sorry, but sub £500 is not cheap, i presume you mean about the £300 - £400 mark. i doubt he can afford this, especially considering at some point he bought a mac capable of running osx...which would set anyone back a bit.One alternative is to buy a cheap PC and use the PC version of Muzys with your existing key on that... I was working on the basis that someone wanting to run Muzys who bought a G5 must have cash going spare...

Prosoniq has programmed an ASIO driver that is thought for running SonicWORX (OS9 Audio Editor) under OSX in Classic mode.
It is a Beta without warranty, but works satisfactory with SonicWORX.
I have not tried with Muzys, but could imagine it would work. Maybe you want to give it a try:

Dr. Wackler, I'm sure you won't mind my having cross-posted this news over on the CM/FM forums. ApBTranCer, I hope you don't mind my having quoted your confirmation of success, too.

That's brilliant news dr wackler!
I know there were some MAC users hanging out to be able to use Muzys on OSX.
I'm trying to remember if Bonte was one of them. Might PM him just in case.

Now I was just wondering about MIDI....
But I seem to remember there is a tool that lets you route the OMS IAC driver from Classic to the Core MIDI driver of OSX and vice versa. Anyone using this?
