$129 intro (NEOLD-INTRO-12999), $99 if owning other PA 'consoles or a dynamic effect'.

I couldn't resist demoing once I learnt Ray did the DSP. First impressions: lovely warm smudge. Might use my voucher this month.

You can easily spot Reimunds way of esthetics with this one. Looks interesting and mos definitely very worth to check out. Might wait a little bit for a cheaper sale, though.
You can be creative in any right place on Earth, and not only in the wealthiest cities. Bring the world feelings from everywhere, and not only feelings of capitalistic or jail environment.

I have the Audified version.
This is the same method MJ used when he was working on Anthony Marinelli's Thriller.

I loveeee his work, but what did you mean? How can you spot it?
In his own plugins for me it is they sound great and very simply to use, but when he does stuff for others like BRA or PA still, they do not necessarily fall into that. So what do you consider his esthetics that you were easily able to spot?

The typo on the GUI & also the palette of colors incl. the wood panels, mainly. I did not test it out, so cannot say anything on how it sounds or works, yet.

I don't think that look alike because of a design style. They just imitate the same piece of hardware. The UAD plugin looks similar too.

I dont know the original hardware, so I guess this could be true.

Yeah and I am not sure Reimund does the artwork/graphics part in the PA stuff he still does....
Not sure... He does for his own line, but it is obvious he doesnt' for BRA. Not sure about PA.

So leaving the visuals aside; did someone already try it, how does it sound?

yes, they're all modeled after the same hardware, so they share the same design aesthetic. Arturia has the same preamp too (and an EQ).
I don't know what to write here that won't be censored, as I can only speak in profanity.

Does anyone in here have the original hardware, or used it somehow?

Some info from Ray posted on Gearslutz when comparing with Fuse releases:

The V376 and the U373 are the transistor based successors of the earlier tube based V76 and U73b modules (all of them were originally manufactured by TAB btw.). They do share some traits with the original circuit designs, but besides the fact that they are BJT based the emulations of these newer modules offered by Fuse sound significantly different so I’d definitely give this NEOLD animal a spin.

NB) The plugin states the interface was done by Robin Ochs.

129$ for another compressor?
That's exciting!

After a short testing, this sounds quite good & surely a different flavor to the Fuse Audio Labs VPRE376 & VCL373, which both seem a bit more subtle in sound. Would be interesting, if someone could put the PA one into Plugin Doctor for the rudimentary short #Aliasing - check.

*update* ...still sounding good; yet there is a pretty high cpu hit, like unusual high. The #aliasing seems to be there (as far as I can tell) there is mos def something going on around 20kHz, which might not be a surprise for most.
