This seems to be the main Pad Motion thread, although it's hard to tell - there are many it seems.

Pad Motion 3 is on sale right now for $60 and I wondered about it... I am not really into watching demo videos and listening to sound samples - I'd rather try a demo. But it doesn't appear to have a demo because it's a "library" for Halion. I don't have any Steinberg software installed and I hesitate to add more plugins to my system.

Just looking for some peer feedback on this thing. I have things like all the u-he's, arturia, AAS, and all the big name synths... would Pad Motion bring anything new to the table, worth the installs and asking price?

It does operate in the free HALion Sonic SE. HALion Sonic SE does need an elicenser code to authorize which you can register with Steinberg to get via email here: https://www.steinberg.net/en/landing_pa ... _free.html
Note that HALion's system requirements are Mac OS 10.12 or higher / Win 7 or higher.

With that, there is a free version of Pad Motion to try it out if you'd like to see if it fits your palette.
