I think it is a windows installer thing..... Maybe it depends if it is written to the Registry or not for it to know it needs to clean up stuff?
Just guessing.

I too was put off by both problems, and I have never used tags anyway, so I actually wrote a program to export every single bank I had from the 1.1.17 version into separate .spf files. I put them all into the same bass/pluck/pad/etc. folders and now I can flip presets for hours and not have my ears blown out by surprise.GMusic wrote: Wed Aug 12, 2020 7:19 pm Nice update, thanks. Is it possible to have the "search" look into ALL folders/banks? Right now, you have to have the specific folder or bank selected for results to show up.
Also +1 about the universal volume setting. Some of the presets nearly blow my ears out and some are too quiet. I'd rather have the overall volume set quiet and increase each preset's volume as needed, than risk having my ears blown out.

Ahh.. how did you?
I tried doing it. Because I knew where patches were easier from memory but it went into the USER Section if I remember correctly.
How did you get it in the Factory section?

I moved the files into the Factory Sounds directory and rescanned.

@vega555 There seems to be a UI bug on Mac Catalina, VST2, when using Studio One 5. I tested the AU in Logic, and the VST in Bitwig, and there were no issues.
Changes to many controls that do not involve dragging the control, do not update the display. In particular I noticed double-clicking on a dial, or changing the octave in the OSC section, the UI does not update unless I toggle to a different OSC and back, or display/hide the preset browser. The value itself does change because I can hear the difference. It's just the UI that isn't updating. It happens all the time, but not every time. And again, no issues in other DAWs. Just in S1.
