Hi there.
I was wondering how many Roland Dimension D clones are out there in plugin form? I know of three the UAD one, Sknote's one and the Empty Room Systems has one.
Are there any others I am missing?
Thanks.

There's also Dimension 3D by Plug & Mix.

The more I hang around at KVR the less music I make.

Xfer's Dimension Expander is an emulation of Massive's Dimension Expander, which, IIRC, supposed to be based on Dimension D

Wampler Pedals recently released plugin versions of several algorithms from their Terraform modulation pedal. Among them is a Dimension style effect (the other 2: Uni-Vibe & envelope filter). They are excellent, and free:

I've tried some of the other plugins mentioned but i think the best of them is the 'Musicrow - Vintage D Chorus' Reaktor ensemble.

Not a clone at all per se, Acon Multiply is good at doing a similar effect (lush but transparent chorus).
Valhalla überMod has a Dim D mode.
Audio Damage QuatroMod has a Dim D mode.
I would be surprised if the excellent D16 GodFazer didn't feature a Dim D Mode either.

https://valhalladsp.com/2012/03/09/valh ... e-history/CHORUS: The chorus mode, based on our original chorus product, Fluid, later extended in to the Dimensions module for Eurorack, has six delay lines modded at different rates for one of the thickest stereo choruses available. The DIM-D mode does what you'd expect, changing the topology to match that venerated box, but with all the control of a modern chorus.
I started developing ValhallaÜberMod in late May of 2011. The original name was ValhallaChorus, as my goal was to make a plugin that could generate the “detuned” choruses found in the Roland Dimension units,

Multiply is an amazing freebie. One of the best choruses, IMO.sinkmusic wrote: ↑Fri Aug 14, 2020 7:00 pm Not a clone at all per se, Acon Multiply is good at doing a similar effect (lush but transparent chorus).

A well-behaved signature.
