a question, does anyone know of a similar bundle like this somewhere on a plugin vendor's site. I remember there being 2 bundles, one full of cheap or old daws like mixcraft and so on. the other one was with virtual instruments and i think it included addictive keys among a ton of really good ones, from various companies. Ive been looking for them for a long time since i forgot to remember their names from the website. If anyone has any idea, please let me know. I just completely forgot where. pls sharre links of any such thing u know of, or similar ones too

They've run that bundle a few times before, and a couple other similar music or video related bundles -- I have their first one from 2018 they pop up often enough in various humble sites fanatical, humble, indiegala etc.

The vendor bundles that I found worth it are the ozone and a few others you'll see occasionally and they all vary, however its usually places like pluginboutique/alliance or similar that has limited runs of others you'll get the best deals -- just have to hit the deal sites/forums here, gs, vi, slick, etc on occasion and hope you score the better ones.

BTW this post belongs and is posted on the bargains forum KVR.
Have you tried Vital?

I mean, it's not from there. It's from a plugin vendor and is not like this limited time one.

It's worth noting that the versions of Pro X11 & Vagas Studio Plat 16, GUI's don't have Hi-DPI support but the versions above do. You have two choices, either stick to your native monitor resolution such as 1080P or if you are using AMD's Virtual Super Resolution Support technology that enables high resolution of 4K on a 1080P screen, an increase of 150% in font size on Windows 10, whilst forcing Hi-DPI support vie the properties .exe of these programs is needed. With that, you might encounter some side effects with fonts that look to have some visual corruption at times but is somewhat temporary as when switching tabs. It's a side effect that is you don't have much choice in because you'll have a hard time using GUI at all otherwise with blurred small fonts. For a limited time until the 25th August 2020, you can upgrade for £150 to get the HI-DPI version. If you though that was steep, an upgrade price of £349 is the usual which is inexplicably the price in which it costs to buy it new...humm, I don't get that.

On the upside, VST Plugins are supported with the Humble Bundle versions.

After registration of Movie platinum and video pro x i could upgrade to vegas 18 pro edit (incl. Boris FX Particle Illusion Standalone and NewBlue Elements 3 Overlay) and Spectralayers 7 (!) for only 199 bucks, offers ends on 25. of August 2020. Not too bad for a humble bundle start ;)

Just a reminder bump for anyone who missed this software bundle that would have bought it, that they have less than 5 days to decide if they want to nab all this. Special upgrade offers that were initially available may have expired however. But still, if you saw this going for less than 20 quid, you probably wouldn't have been looking to upgrade right off the bat anyway.

Humble Bundle does the Magix again: https://de.humblebundle.com/software/ve ... warebundle

Got it for Vegas Pro Edit 16 alone...

Always choose to give all the money to the developers though. Too much political stuff going on with the charities they support.

Post

Is the 'Edit' bit relevant? Indicate a slightly limited version or something as 'Studio' does on the other products?

Post

Yeah, it's cut down on some features compared to the Pro version.

Frankly, I have no idea which features though. It's already overkill for my needs.

There is this comparison, but, it's for the latest version 18. Shouldn't be that much of a difference to version 16 though. https://www.vegascreativesoftware.com/u ... omparison/

P.S.: Seems like it's mostly lacking the additional FX of the Pro version, and the audio editing/mastering, meaning that it doesn't come with the full version of Soundforge Pro 13 (Soundforge Audio Studio 13 is part of the Humble Bundle though. It's also a cut down version of Soundforge, comparable with Wavelab Elements).

"$20 Voucher Code for Producer Planet
MSRP: $19.99
For products labeled as MAGIX or ACID only."

Will this work for any vsts there?

Post

Answering my own question... these should work. $1 for two plugins if I understand correctly. https://www.producerplanet.com/us/audio ... t=priority

I thought Ecox, Filtox etc were discontinued when they upgraded their authentication servers a few years ago? Think I still have my serials, nice sounding plugins.

Post

it's two versions behind... not an amazing deal really.

Post

It's from mid 2018. It cost 399 € back then. I think it's a pretty good deal.
