Sometimes they throw in additional vouchers. For example if you didn't already, you could have done a quick survey for a $20 voucher valid once per account and until the end of the year. Also once you have spent more than $50 (not incl. VAT) you should be getting a monthly $25 voucher for 12 months.

Edit: But $49,99 is a good price for this quality synth! There are a lot of other good products to use this voucher and the monthly ones on. Basically it means you get one of their plugins a month for $15.

Nobody knows. That's why it's kind of pointless to hint at it, or wait for it.

bx-oberhausen is quite simply one of the best soft synths I've ever used. In terms of simplicity, features, design, effects and most of all, sound quality, it's a really well thought out and executed vst. No doubt they took their cues from the Arturia version but I think it is a very refined release. Admittedly, I had very low expectations - it was hard to get excited about yet another VA, but I really think they've nailed it. Even the presets are great.

PA pricing policy seems odd but it is clearly playing on some kind of human psychology of being incentivised by bargains. I'm sure many people have bought something at say 25% of it's full retail price. If the full retail was 1/2 of what it currently is (i.e. making the RRP more 'realistic'), then like for like offers would be 50% of full retail. Potential buyers would then be much less likely to buy as there is much less of a saving. Their marketing team must be having a field day as they have multiple incentive schemes. I think the very short term 24 hour hour offers are pushing it though. That's some kind of pressure/panic buying right there.

I own a lot of PA plugins no subs for me thanks .Always got them at very cheap prices with just a little patience.I have the Arturia SEM in the V7 collection which covers that base ATM . Im sure this is a fine emulation of the SEM from PA and now was the time to grab it for those that don't have a SEM emulation.

Don’t be sad about $50 instead of $30. It’s totally worth $50. At least if you like the SEM sound!

It’s the best SEM soft synth to date, I think. And, yes, I have an OB-6 to compare it to.

I had taken this survey back in March, got the voucher and completely forgot about it. Thanks! Just picked up Oberhausen real cheap. Nice filter!
