No guys , I’m just curious because because why would you buy one when something like serum blows it out of the water

I take it you never owned a virus.

I'm actually not sure I would buy a Virus in 2020 if I didn't have it already. But I'll never part with mine. Serum may have more features on paper but it doesn't sound as good.
You may think you can fly ... but you better not try

Serum surely is a chameleon synth as it can make pretty much any sound, heck I can make serum indistinguishable from the virus but the virus has some features that serum doesn't have and vice versa, as a owner of both I can say that neither replaces the other but as it been said I wouldn't buy a virus new in 2020, Catalina drivers are non existent and the is really no answer from access about the possibility of getting them updated, so the virus is on its way to vintage digital land.

I'll keep mine while using it as a standalone digital synth cause I like the sound it produces from time to time.

Does Serum sound like a Virus? Never noticed that it does... sounds way brighter to me.

I have both. Serum does more stuff. Virus sounds better and comes with a keyboard and knobs.
