Professional, lol. like vintageverb is the holy grail of reverbs and every producer use it. There is absolutely nothing special about vintageverb. Signaldust Abstract Chamber and Tila2 eats vintageverb for breakfast. #overhyped #fanbois

Currently I prefer the Eventide Blackhole. If it should not sound as much like an effect then Relab Sonsig. Many producers also still love the Lexicon PCM. If you like the Lexicon sound, the PCM is certainly still excellent (and currently affordable)
VintageVerb is also very good, especially for the small price. I don't think it comes close to other reverbs in terms of quality, but I like to use it when I want it to sound "vintage" with low CPU consumption.
The reverbs from 2Audio, like Breeze, are also very good. I was amazed how excellent they sound... CPU consumption was a bit higher though.

Yeah. TBH, I reach for Blackhole most of the time too. It just sounds good, and has "that" sound I'm looking for most of the time. Other than that, Comet is great as well.

This does give me an idea. What if we could somehow make a fantasy football equivalent with VSTs. I still have to figure out the on-the-field equivalent, but I'm onto something.
Doing nothing is only fun when you have something you are supposed to do.

The Lana del Ray article mentions Valhalla about 3741 times on the first page. But then again perhaps the Lana del Ray productions aren't "pro" enough by KVR's standards...revvy wrote: Thu Aug 20, 2020 11:16 am In fairness to mabian I too clicked on the SOS articles and searched and couldn't fond Valhalla on the first ones I clicked on, it was the hidden 'Page 2' feature I missed each time.

If that would happen with any other company, it'd be paid endorsement.jens wrote: Thu Aug 20, 2020 3:41 pmThe Lana del Ray article mentions Valhalla about 3741 times on the first page.revvy wrote: Thu Aug 20, 2020 11:16 am In fairness to mabian I too clicked on the SOS articles and searched and couldn't fond Valhalla on the first ones I clicked on, it was the hidden 'Page 2' feature I missed each time.
