I just came across this youtube star. Her name is Morgan James and she is a U.S singer song writer, and actress. I absolutely love this cover she has done of the Police's Roxanne, so I had to post it here.

its not for me though, yeah she has a good voice, just the arrangements seem to suck any energy from the tracks (not that ordinary world had much to start with)

I guess I just like to see how different a cover can sound. She made the song relaxing, where as the original which is great by the way makes you want to tap your feet to the beat and sing all be it rather poorly in my case. I'm guessing you don't like Duran Duran then?

2. IMO her voice is nice, not pitch perfect, but pleasant enough. Even if you don't like this sort of thing it's not like its "3 Second Rule" or the infamous "Comfortably numb" cover. To call this awful leaves little range for comment when you do truly hear something awful. Unless you are so narrow minded that you just package anything beneath your incomparable ear for quality into the awful category.

i dont dislike them, im not saying ordinary world was a bad track, it was just a slow number. wasnt a put down, just an observation.

although, i did prefer wild boys at the time, i like the mad max vibe in the video. i think i was about 8.
