----Well, the SQ80 clone maker hasn't been sued yet, so there's still hope for a Fiz vst eh.

Music Tech mag gave away a shit load of Fizmo samples two months back, they are loops, but they didnt have loop points for some reason. Most sounded they same tho, prob about 15 diff sounds with 10 variations of each....multree wrote:
just a quick mock up on how it could look like.... I'd like to have two versions.... an FX version and an Instrument version...
obviously with more knobs and stuff though
so if anyone has some more infos about this beast he'd like to share please do so here...

----You must mean Steam. It was an interesting synth and all, but it regularly hit 50%+ cpu usage, (on 2 overlapping notes), and didn't sound all that much like a Fiz. A cool synth in it's own right, but bad cpu usage probs, and no comparison to a Fiz really.Kriminal wrote:..also, didnt xoxos make a fizmo emu a while back???

----Keep = dreaming. Best bet = bug Rob Papen/Jon, they have been threatening to update Kubik, and if you know Kubik, you know 1) it was something pretty cool/different, and 2) it needs a usability upgrade and a half. If anyone could do it, it would be Jon, with Rob's guidance eh.

What code ? After 15 years it would probably be worthless anyway.

back n forth much like serum and surge. back in the 90's
it was state of the art. in fact, i made a set of the
entire VFX transwaves to use with Surge. its now my Software VFX.
not the perfect emulation, but pretty damn good.
anyone that owns a VFX will recognize the wave names:

Aha well tbh i've never used a Fizmo or a VFX so shouldn't really say much. I'm sure they are great.layzer wrote: Sat Aug 22, 2020 3:32 pmlike the VFX (which i own) it uses Transwaves that it can scan throughHalonmusic wrote: Sat Aug 22, 2020 1:39 pmBecause ?Teksonik wrote: Fri Aug 21, 2020 9:35 pm What code ? If only surge worked properly (no gui) in energyXT 3 or even 2.5 on my end
