Does anyone have experience with Bandcamp Promo Codes? How does that work for the clients? Is it possible to create a link directly with the promo code, without the client having to type in a code somewhere?

Instead of using Promo Packs via download or private playlists on Soundcloud, I am thinking about using Promo Codes on Bandcamp.
So for radio stations/moderators, A&R etc. but also for some people to give them access to the release and so they to have the possibility to stream and download the release unlimited.

Has anyone ever used this for a release and what is the experience?
