I've not read the thread, but i probably will buy Zynaptiq Adaptiverb on sale approx £90 till end August, and then 2Caudio Breeze on sale approx £100 till end September, because i think they offer different superior sound than that i already have.
I have NI (all), Exponential Phoenixverb, Arturia plate, Soundtoys Littleplate, and Melda ReverbMB.

Best verbs use a lot of CPU. Nebula has had the best verbs for years, and of course, they use a lot of CPU. Waves then made Abbey Chambers and plates and they use FIR, part convo part algo. These use even more CPU than nebula and the verbs sound as good. Then they came with H reverb, and also Manny M which I believe is also hybrid. Then IK came with sunset sound, again, as much CPU as Nebula, and also sounds as good.
There are decent algo verbs, Relab LX480 and sonsig, and Nimbus and R4, and even TC elec came out with this dvr250. But, algo verbs just sound fake to many like me, tinny, it rich and full. I have LX480, Nimbus, R4, and Dvr250, but I only use algo verbs while tracking. Soon as I no longer need to keep my daw buffers low for virtual instruments and I can just mix, then off go the algo verbs and on with the good stuff.
Just get Waves H verb, IK Sunset sound and you will have fabulous, rich, hardware sounding verbs and use the algo toys when you need to keep CPU low.

Sunset Sounds uses very little CPU in my experience. And it sounds amazing. It's not as flexible as H-Reverb, but it's less than 1/4 of the CPU usage of it.

Yes, I have thoughts on the best reverb (I've been having these thoughts since I started producing, some 20 odd years ago).
For years now I use "Sotafter Reverb" by Lans Reeve-Herb and Martijn van der ful (unfortunately not available anymore).
I compared it to a hardware Bricasti M7 and to Lexicon machines (224, 96, 960, 480, 91, 92) and man... they (the hardware machines) are not even in the ballpark. the vibe, the tone, the harmonic distortion, the depth, the width, the sizzle, the spatial size, the richness, the enhancement, the transients, the impact, the top-end, the bottom-end, the dynamic response, the separation and the sheer prestige ... just shines through.
