Greetings,

New Ableton user here, wondering wether there are any possibilites of recording directly from online sources (youtube, websites etc) into my DAW? I tried something called IshowU Audio Capture, but my DAW didnt record any audio.

Any help or tips are appreciated.

There are a number of apps for this, it's been a while but I reached for Soundflower, apparently Blackhole is the preferred free tool these days.

Soundflower hasnt been updated in a while, so not sure it is compatible with the newest MacOS. Will give Blackhole a try. Thanks!

Good to know about Blackhole. Though Soundflower is great if it works with your version. On High Sierra a bunch of people were having issues but mine always worked like a charm. Either way, they're great tools for so many things. Good luck.
