Some of the effects are quite good. The quad delay and psyche delay are both brilliant. Stereo detune is another great one.

The amp sims, however, are the weak link. It's not the product I would turn to for realistic guitar sounds.

Aye, elbow and wrist are a bit f**ked (I blame wanking..). Got some Judas Priest stylee black gimp glove wrist support, and a stretchy sleeve thing for the elbow to wear at night. Makes me look like a right twat.

I rather do think the more (ahem..) 'rockist' fraternity get too hung up on what they see as the vexed issue of tone, in isolation, without taking the longer view as to what use the sound is. My view is there's probably no such thing as a bad guitar sound; you just haven't found the context in which to use it yet.

Of course if you're not songwriting, but just want to widdle and crank out a few riffs, then I could see the rationale a bit more for the fixation on 'tone' and apeing classic sounds - you got nowt else.

I like shoegaze or rather nu gaze i think it's called, so i think i like tones too!
