Social Justice Warrior, I think.
I don't know why OP has used it in a negative way, though, talking about haters.

Bizarro World Rules OK
I actually saw Justice League on HBO Max. My writing partner (not music, words) is not well-disposed to Zack Snyder for some reason. I thought it was pretty good. I was ill-disposed to Batman v Superman as a premise but I haven't seen it. I like Ben Affleck and that's the reason I clicked on it. Then I saw Joss Whedon in the opening titles. Kept my interest and was pretty atypical of the genre.

I think it's someone who isn't totally OK with someone else being treated like shit and tries to do something about it by confronting the people who treat other people like shit. Apparently many people finds this behaviour very provocative. Studies show that a venn diagram of a) the set of people who use the term Social Justice Warrior and b) the set of people who like to treat other people like shit produces a donut shape.

Same with the bollocks about 'virtue signalling'. If having a social conscience and a shred of empathy and decency, and the temerity to call out those without said attributes, is somehow now 'virtue signalling', then we're fuckered. In my day it was called not being a tory wanker.

was it a classic? no, its a comic book film, its explosions and archetypical heroes in the modern age.
martha was a bit cheesy, but how the hell had no one ever noticed that before? me included
cinmas full of grown men going "oh my god! they are both called martha as well!
doomsday was a bit naff too.
but that moment wonder woman joined in
the trinity on the big screen!!! historic comic book moment
and yes, shes beautiful, but shes played the part brilliantly in the 3 films so far! her and aquaman have been the best characters (which us surprising with aquaman
but for sure, if you enjoy losing reality for a couole of hours, any of the comic films are great really.
well, maybe not green lantern
although, i think it will be waiting for them on some online platform for a while, not sure i fancy sitting in a cinema just now

"You" generic, I hope, since I don't want to exclude anyone and I'd be called SJW myself somehowvurt wrote: Fri Aug 28, 2020 9:33 pmnot sure why you would exclude people, based on the fact they care about people they dont know.

I get your point and underline that indeed the interaction is what is necessary. However on that part I am figuring out how I can do the interaction without having to be one myself to do *all* the interaction. The emphasis is on *all*jancivil wrote: Thu Aug 27, 2020 1:46 pm If you want a living in this you're going to have to extend yourself and be genuinely sociable and give people something that makes them gravitate to you organically. One guy found that getting heard more made him more productive. It's not just that people are exposed to you, they want to interact.
The use of shite like "SJW" is a terrifically poor approach in this regard and a bad sign afaic. You're alienating people to no positive result. IE: buh-bye.
As for the SJW shite, this is not to alienate people but rather an up-front notification for any of those that are searching for me in the history of the internet and then use that against me. I have suffered immensely under that and I think that being here trying to better my life by better understand others should at least give me a bit of credit rather than a serving of buh-bye.
Point is, we cannot endlessly hunt and hold people accountable for things that happened in the past. Just like we are not pissed at the current german population anymore for WWII. Sounds reasonable right?

This SJW bullshit is for HPC and shoulda been removed as flaming from the original OP IMO.
Not that I care what your attitude is or would attempt to stop you from having it, but you shouldn't unnecessarily politicise posts here.
So, year later you still looking for a group? Not been working out, huh?

Lol I tried this many times. For instance: I bought Bitwig because it promised "online collaboration." So in advance I contacted some people here at KVR soon after BW was released in 2014. My idea was to use free pluggies to learn from each other, but or.. people were already absorbed by their own projects, or my idea was just laughed at.
But now I can manage the whole process of production, basically, I'd better concentrate on publication when time comes. Not too bothered here

PS I'm not sure if SJW is some form of management, or... just dismembering.
"It's just a scratch." xD
