I picked up a Chase Bliss Automatone recently. I had some trepidation, for obvious reasons. However, I’m pleased to report that I’m totally blown away by every aspect of this box! Is it worth the price? Yes, absolutely, without hesitation.
Incomplete list of my gear: 1/8" audio input jack.

Can’t see any accuracy figures in the specs. The Korg Pitchblack mini says 0.01% in strobe mode but TC Polytunes are 0.02%. I doubt I could tell the difference these days, or ever, but the bonafide buffer in the TC is a nice addition for not much more.

Was looking for a mini tuner. The Xvive and EHX ones look the same but the EHX one is 4x the price, including an adapter. With Xvive supplying BBD chips to EHX, it’s a fair bet they are just rebranded.
I miss MindPrint. My TRIO needs a big brother.

Korg's got a buffer too.

It says True Bypass and doesn’t mention buffer here plus there’s no dip switch. It being battery too is a nice touch though.

TC Noir 3 Mini has a switchable buffer and the bonafide buffer is a class above the regular (IMO).

My bad, I misunderstood what buffer means then. I saw the 'true bypass, doesn't affect your sound when off' and that was all I was worried about.

What's a buffer do then that's different?

(I won't be buying from TC but that's just me)

^ It’s basically a unity gain stage which isolates your guitar from the rest of the chain, preserving signal strength and tone. It stops there being too much reduction in signal with long cables/chains.

Ah I see, thanks. Useful but I can live without. Glad it's not some dealbreaker (for me) feature I've missed out on.

The Vox has the same accuracy as the Polytune3 strobe ±0.02 cents., I agree about the TC with the bonus of a defeatable buffer.

I use a Polytune3 clip and never thought I'd use the poly function, but I do, very useful, especially on Floyd Rose equipped guitars.

I'm sure there's a reason that Polytunes' are almost always out of stock, maybe supply and demand or popularity.

Not looking for another chorus but the fuzz for £15.61 looks interesting

With extra Scoop!

Also looking for a phaser (Eno Unparallel?). Preferably with more than 2 controls, for flexibility, no matter how blasphemous that is to MXR fans :hihi: .

Ryan Burke (60 cycle hum channel at Youtube) liked that one, but he seems to prefer the Cuvave (not that they are identical, but IIRC it bounced the P-Pi off his affordaboard).

$18.25 + $0.97 at aliexpress.
