As Steinberg have sales on Wavelab at the moment, I was wondering: I own Wavelab Elements 9.5, and a upgrade to 10 would cost me 12,50 € with the current sale. When I buy it, can I activate it when 10.5 is being released, and get Wavelab Elements 10.5 then?

Just went ahead and bought the upgrade anyway, as I assume that it works the way it works for all the other Steinberg software too.

if the Wavelab Elements 9.5 you got was not 9 or earlier ver. and didn't turn into 9.5 (grace effect

) then when 10.5 is out
- you'll get it.
I have elements 10 and forgot if I already had grace update applied to it ...If I did ...then upgrade to pro will not turn into 10.5..
best to get the full ver. and sell the elements for a few $$$...

TBH, I don't understand what you are saying. I have Wavelab Elements 9.5, and just bought the upgrade to 10, which I assume will get me to activate 10.5, when I activate it with code I have shortly before 10.5 will be released.

Are you saying that that won't be the case?

you'll get 10.5 as long as you have not had grace update before applied to the one you have - 9.5

Ah... I get it now.

Thanks. 9.5 wasn't activated taking benefit of a grace period. So, all good I think.

Steinberg - grace period also valid for Wavelab upgrades?
