You've changed your name to reflect the "rock hard audio performance" of your products?
(From wikipedia: "Chert: Chert is a hard, fine-grained sedimentary rock composed of microcrystalline crystals of quartz, the mineral form of silicon dioxide. Chert is characteristically of biological origin but may also occur inorganically as a chemical precipitate or a diagenetic replacement, as in petrified wood.")
P.S. - Love Voltage Modular, congrats on the anniversary.

Thanks for the support, everyone! The Cherry Audio Year Two Celebration begins on Tuesday. I'll post the details here - and there will be some pretty cool new modules announced as well!

For a sec I felt frustrated that I had just paid $69 for the MRB Luxury filter bundle thinking the discount offered would be as low as it would go and now seeing ot offered for $44. Then I thought of how I've allready put it to use in projects (nothing commercial but I never do anything commercial anyway, it certainly was a pleasure anyway) and that mad eit easer to live with it. I'd advice filterfreaks to grab this one while price is low, pretty much all goodies in here and incredible value from the bundle.

the price isn't $44.. it is still $69...Gone soft wrote: Sat Aug 29, 2020 4:08 pm For a sec I felt frustrated that I had just paid $69 for the MRB Luxury filter bundle thinking the discount offered would be as low as it would go and now seeing ot offered for $44. i have the luxury bundle to (and first the syrup bundle), their was a problem with the discount if you already owned the syrup bundle..
but now i see also $44... that is a discount, in a way, a strange discount of course, something is calculating this.
since a week, i have problems keeping signed in... in firefox (79 and 80), yes blockers, 3, and the 2 from firefox, always worked. no real problem.
if you sign out, you see the prices for everybody...
and it is a great bundle, and now i have everything (what is now in store) of MRB, great stuff for sounddesign, and MPE patches.. of course other stuff too... but i focus now on MRB, to learn all the possibilities.
i am a filterfreak, and cytomatic the drop may be still a great filter plugin, but with voltage modular, with all the other filters. and the upcoming, i already know, polymode synth....
indeed greatly recommended this bundle, but also the labotary bundle, and of course: the zerooscillator, that is a thing on it's own.

Where are you seeing it at $44? I held off buying at $69 because the blurb mentioned a 100% discount for owners of the filter bundle which wasn’t being applied at checkout. I emailed the dev and he and Cherry Audio got it fixed so it may be you’re seeing a discounted price due to things you already own (now you own the bundle). Visit the page in incognito mode and you should see it at $69.Gone soft wrote: Sat Aug 29, 2020 4:08 pm For a sec I felt frustrated that I had just paid $69 for the MRB Luxury filter bundle thinking the discount offered would be as low as it would go and now seeing ot offered for $44.

Ah I didn’t get to see Wasteland’s post before posting. Yes, MRB’s stuff is top notch.
I’d also recommend the drift bundle that another dev sells for $15 and you can use to introduce nice levels of analog style drift into just about anything, even shuffle applied to a sequencer’s clock source.

i had also an extensive e-mail conversation about the discount not visible, with dev and other things.. for syrup bundle owners. it must work now. cherry also helped, what went wrong i do not know.WatchTheGuitar wrote: Sat Aug 29, 2020 4:23 pmWhere are you seeing it at $44? i had the discount, $49, for me, and others with the syrup bundle.
now i see $44. but i have it already, or better i own the luxury filter bundle. so in a way there is now a strange calculation.
if you have the syrup bundle, it must be $49 now, if not, there is again another or same problem.
on the cherry audio forum the, on the cherry audio website, not on KVR, you will see that people asked (me, one of them), and that is fixed. i can't see if it still works of course, because i have bought the luxury filter bunlde for $49 (of course a total of $69, because the syrup bundle was $20).
and i said, my login is not remembered, sometimes between sessions, but not long..
so i see the price of $69, because i am not logged in when i visit the store, logged in i see $44. strange yes. the last price...

ow cross posting,
yes the drift pack is great, bought it for more analog style. the VCO of MRB, you can use also as a "drift" LFO, set it to low mode, and turn "FINE", asynchronically modulated, tip from MB himself.
but the drift pack, bought it instantly... from insomniac music is a great pack, and can modulate at different "levels"
https://store.cherryaudio.com/bundles/the-drift-pack
and check out the mod delay of insomniac... to create your own delays, reverbs, etc. all things that use delay lines (and that are a lot)
for building your own phaser (or was it flanger, no phaser...), the all pass filter of cherry audio, included in core.
the mod delay and the all-pass filter... and some other stuff... crazy effects... must still experiment with them, simple building blocks, that can do.... you name it..

I will pick up the Laboratory pack at some point, but do feel I want to keep away from anything that's not fully modular to an extent otherwise I'd just use the plugin host and interface with one of a thousand VSTs.

i thought that the laboratory pack, was also not that modular, but forget those 2 biggies, the VCO is great, the filter, the VCA, envelope module, and the other stuff (and there will be 2 more to come to the bundle, see the interview on the cherry audio site).WatchTheGuitar wrote: Sat Aug 29, 2020 4:46 pm I will pick up the Laboratory pack at some point, but do feel I want to keep away from anything that's not fully modular to an extent otherwise I'd just use the plugin host and interface with one of a thousand VSTs.
i bought VM for the plugin host..... but i changed direction completely, not completely, in my MPE patch with only MRB stuff, i use for the same "varations", 2 presets, because the plugin host does not react of course to varations (snapshots, which is of course the use of it), 1 with eventide shimmerverb. and 1 with xenoverb, in shimmer mode. works beatiful.
this of course personal, i didn't get the modalur attraction, when demoed it, now i have it... i see what it can do...
with the amount of modules i have now.... i use the plugin host not that often anymore, but still, in some cases it is great to use for instance glitchmachines palindrome as "oscillator"... and i have patches with the arturia mini filter (+ native instruments RC 24, that adds to the sound, yes it has a reverb tail, but it is set very dark, and no predelay, it makes a very dark sound).
so many possibilities.
