Hi Everyone,
My 13 year old son plays the bass, and wants to post video of himself playing on Instagram. He would like these videos to have relatively high quality audio - in other words, not the audio from the phone, but audio recorded into a DAW. What is the easiest way for one to do this? I can help him record the audio into a DAW, and I know that I can use SMPTE codes (or something similar) to sync that audio to his video, but is there a single (inexpensive, preferably) way to do both within the same program? Would any of the "lite" versions of the major DAWs allow us to do this easily? I have Ableton, Reason, Waveform and Cubase AI.
Thanks in advance for your help!

Ooh - just found a program called Plural Eyes that claims to sync automatically with no codes, claps, etc. Plus, it offers free access to students. I'm going to try that one out for him - thought I would post here in case anyone else has a similar need.
