Did anyone get their hands on this unit??
Just saw this on andertons channel and it sounds so crazy, plus flying faders are a really easy way to change sounds imo

Anyone has this and wants to share their opinion? 8)

Yes, I got one. It sounds amazing and is really versatile. I haven’t attempted to control it over MIDI yet, but I’m sure that will open up whole worlds of possibilities.

I don’t have a lot of experience with other overdrive and fuzz pedals so I can’t really make a good comparison. That Pedal Show did a good comparison with some others, and they loved the Automatone.

One comment I have, and it isn’t really a negative, but the faders feel really light and flimsy, compared to the stiff, heavy ones I was expecting. I’ve never used anything with flying faders before, so I’m guessing this is simply the nature of the beast. I suppose they have to be light in order to move them remotely.

I wasn’t sure I was being practical spending that much on an overdrive pedal, but until now I’d never really been satisfied with the few other boxes I’ve owned. This thing is so versatile and sounds great in every configuration, it’s really the last distortion pedal I’ll ever need. Admittedly I do have a Helix floorboard loaded with custom impulse responses, so between the two I’m totally covered. If you’re considering spending the money, I can assure you that you won’t be disappointed.
Incomplete list of my gear: 1/8" audio input jack.
