Komplete 13, ladies and gents

New additions include: GUITAR RIG 6 PRO, CREMONA QUARTET, PARLIGHT, MYSTERIA, STRAYLIGHT, NOIRE and SUPER 8
Note: KU12 has 20 expansionsas well as 39 Expansions
That's fine I guess, but not tempting enough to me.
Also, the box artwork is messy - like they had no idea what they want it to be

Seems the v12 has disappeared off the site, other than start.

$400 to upgrade from Komplete Ultimate 12 to 13?!!
Its another one I am happy to skip (and I am on Ultimate 11) but I am sure there is some stuff there worth 400 bucks to someone...only really GUITAR RIG 6 PRO has my interest (but I have am quite happy with HELIX now)

The upgrades will be at 50% off soon enough, but one thing I'm wondering is if they've finally managed to build VST3/improved GUI versions of all these plugins... Surely they can't go on another 18 months cycle like this without hurting their sales.

Are you allowed to tell whether there is going to be another "collector's edition" with all recent premium things like Arkhis and the Stradivari?
edit: it's there already

i thought i saw in a thread on the native instruments forum, once, a NI employee asking what people would like to see. so i thought 6 is coming. and yes.
tempting... have komplete 11 ultimate, and i will buy komplete 13 ultimate, or will i buy instead komplete 13, the libraries aren't that interesting to me, and i have what komplete 13 lacks, in komplete 11 ultimate, of the effects and some instruments...
@EvilDragon thank you for the link to guitar rig 6 pro
EDIT: they build in again some effects? like rc24 and rc48??
and still possibilies to "controllers" (FCB-1010 i always use)?

I would like to know your thoughts on this, do you think this will be competitive to what is out today like Neural?

IMHO yes the new amps are comparable or even better than Neural stuff in girth, dynamics and pick response.
I still love Thermionik the best, but that may be simply because I'm so used to it by now.

Oh wow, that is very very pleasing because I love the interface of GR. Your opinion has weight, thank you

Just 3 new amps and a refreshed GUI doesn't seem like a lot after all of this time, looks like they just added the fx we already have in Komplete.
Good to see the scalable interface being rolled out and if you don't already have modern amp sim this is a good addition to the basic package.
