Here's a suggested GUI de-cluttered, with always visible sliders, and with improved contrast in most affected places.

Some might ask why I changed the font color of section titles (like PROGRAMMER, DCO1, etc.)... it's because doing a cutout from that blue so that the background gray shows through is TERRIBLE contrast (just try it with setting the GUI to grayscale).

i could go for that, and to nit pick a little further,
i would fill in the volume knob line with white
to bring that out more.

A better than 5-bit resolution for parameters wouldn‘t be too bad though...

You get that with host automation. Unless Björn quantized all parameters internally... which would be a pretty bad thing to do

I actually have a working EX-800 module (not that I use it but it is there)

I've been loving Tricent and Fury-800...both are fantastic synths. I just wanted to comment and say how good this GUI looks that EvilDragon made. Having the sliders visible would make the work flow better. The current GUI looks great, but I would love the addition of these key workflow helping suggestions.

Yeah, Bjorn really did a great job bringing the old Poly 800 back to life.
I think Full Bucket/Bjorn right across the board is just a great, talented guy with awesome plugins.

yeah, the contrast is a significant improvement...
and i'd really like the sliders to be visible at all times at
the very least. or an config option to make them so.
