But this is something i dont understand about some of the developers.

Lets be real, even with decent gpu (i have AMD RX580) the GUI of latest NI plugins is somewhat stuttery, slow. And you have developers like Parawave, Fabfilter, Synapse Audio. Their'GUIS are fast, lightweight. Shouldnt other developers want to improve themself and look at something like a fabfilter as a performance benchmark ? As individual, as a company you should want to be best or at least to meet the comortability level for your product, so that the user wouldnt need to search for products in your competitors lineup. And this is something i dont understand about some of the developers. NI was like "Should we make a stuttery laggy but pretty GUI so our users could be less comfortable?" CEOs: lets do that, we dont need more money, lets criple our products, yay
I agree stop cranking out Kontakt Libraries NI and work on your GUIS.

I have Komplete 12 and so far I see it quite simple: Komplete 13 is not worth for me, I'll eventually get Ultimate at a sale or simply skip and go for Komplete 14 in a couple of years. I still have to explore all the goodies of Komplete 12 tbh (35 modules not installed yet).

I might update during a sale. The play series instruments are of interest to me. I would have updated on day one had og massive, absynth, and FM8 had included resizeable/ alternate skin/GUI.

Native really needs to develop a standalone maschine and hardware synths/ drum machines.

It works for me ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Maybe instead of making up some evil company conspirations, you should focus on fixing the problem? Could be infamous AMD drivers, or some issue on NI's side that should be officially reported as a bug.

Im not making any conspiracy theories :)

Sorry, but its the developers who should beta test things to be compatible :) i always update the drivers :) and the way NI products work they seem to work like they intend to. Im just criticising the company because there are really great examples of fast performing GUIs that have been on plugins that are in the market for quite a long time while NI came up with their own quite recently. And my last sentance in my last post is obviously a joke with a pun to make it clear :)

Wow, KVR is even more fact-free than usual. No new products for me at all! (Well except the 33 that are). I can't believe they still don't have a scalable interface in 2020! (except they do).

Does anyone read any more, or is everyone so keen in the rush to add rolled eyes emojis and rip into anyone they don't like they simply skip that part?

I use my NI products in linux, and have never noticed any slow or stuttering gui issues. Some people just have a an unfortunate cluster of hardware and drivers, and those few who expect support and perfection for every unlucky setup have to be reminded that software prices would double or worse to cover that spread. Using linux teaches you that compatible hardware is the fundamental, and one must sometimes sell A and buy B, or get left behind.
Not to mention playing russian roulette with win 10, eventually there will be 'luck' to deal with :scared:

So all the old synths can be resized now? If so that is great news.

I'll eat humble pie if that was the reference, I understood that comment was directed at Guitar Rig 6, which does indeed have a scalable interface.

This is just an open thought. One thing is strange to me a bit is pricing and scalability of the package upgrades. If you have 12 CE and want to update to 13 CE you pay 500 eu and get all this down bellow (minus the expansions for existing products). Going from K12U you get everything whats down beow about except, Cremona quartet violin and cello and arkhis, price imediatly gets down by 100eu BUT you update from Ultimate version not CE. So if you aready paid premium you do get to pay premium upgrade price. Maybe there is some sense in there - you update from one package version to another.

Now bear with me: those excluded expansions are string instruments and another cinematic one, K12 CE edition is riddled with them. You already get premium of strings, as an example, Symphony series full versions are included already. When you weight the difference between instruments and price going from K12U to 13U versus K12 CE to K13 CE it feels that you pay not only a premium price but also only being acompanied by expansions that some may see just as a filler content that makes scale/price ratio to be uneven.

I agree with the pricing comment. It's not very attractive, especially between Ultimate and Ultimate Collector's Edition update/upgrade. I have almost concluded not to get into the Collector's Edition. Ultimate is the perfect sweet spot for me from money and contents point of view (including the size of content!).

It'll be 50% off next summer. I'll wait.

I might be in for the GR6 update simply because I want it. But quite happy with K12 as it is. My pet peeve is that there are NO symphonic products in «Komplete» 12. I’d love to see at least the Essentials in K13 but I have to upgrade to KU to get them. Probably not going to happen.
