Klanghelm SSDR for subtle to medium dirt
UA Dirt2 for more extreme stuff
A couple of dedicated guitar pedal plugins for certain sounds (audio obsessions big muff clone etc)

I'm trying to work minimally and just use the tools I know at the moment but may have to buy something expendable just to get Trash 2 for free...

You can't get this kind of quality insight just anywhere y'know: "Distortion. Here you choose all kinds of tubes. Clean. Warm. All types. Also we have the mix knob and of course millions of presets to choose from. Crunchy Guitar. You have mastering presets as well and a lot more. Uh, yeah, this is it guys these are some of my favourite distortion plugins..."

That's top-grade pro insight right there. I can't wait to find out about favourite gain knobs in the next video.
