Somehow you forgot Amon Amarth and Arch Enemy here, unbelievable! :)

(I understand they are filed under "etc etc")
Never liked Amon Amarth but the first 3 Arch Enemy are great!
AE leader Michael Amott plays on Carcass Necroticism and Heartwork too!

Italians can't make any decent music no matter what genre. :D It always ends like over boiled pasta. :hihi:
Are you sure?

sounds like a Sepultura ripoff song from "Roots".

old Sepultura is the best from South America. you cannot beat this fine hour of ultimate thrash metal badassary

the uk was pretty good in the metal scene
napalm death, carcass, bolt thrower, godflesh, entombed, benediction...

Just because this thread mentions both Sepultura and drummers:

technicians seem to have this tendency to "overplay" and "overcomplicate" in order to show off.

Igor Cavalera still goes unbeaten, but Eloy is a worthy follower.

if you gave Igor 30 years minus off his age, in Sepultura drumming contest all his rivals would be sitting under his drum throne, quietly. not sure how much of that stamina he has left nowadays, but back then he could literally thrash your face skin off on the drums.

No.

Old Sepultura kicks ass.

"Arise" - legendary album. Their best, by far.

Behemoth has some of the most beautiful music videos I've ever seen.

Fantastic showmanship.

I've not looked into Argentinian metal but I see that there is a list https://www.metalunderground.com/bands/ ... Argentina/ from which it seems I know very little. I'm looking forward to learning. Loved Sepultura and Nailbomb back in the day.
