In addition to the crash, if you assign an instrument to the folder track, it no longer acts like a folder. You are unable to add tracks to it, etc.. (menu choices vanish)

Yes, there are still flaws with the Track Folder, I wrote about some yesterday. I would also like to add "Folder to Folder". For example the Strings Folder, inside it is the Violin Folder and the Cello Folder. Thank.

Hello Attila!
In the future, I ask you to update the command "Extract selected phrases to new track" and add something like "Move selected phrases to new track".And yet, so that at the same time it was possible to select phrases belonging to different tracks to extract into a new track. This will make editing the final tracks very easy. Thank you.

Track folders is making a huge difference to me. So much easier to work in a big orchestral composition. Thanks Attila.

I guess the folder tracks need to be identified better when generating.. meaning, if you create a folder track, it's name is set to "Folder".. If you then, later on, add another folder track, it's name is also set to "Folder", even if you already have one named that. So, unless the user renames it right away, it would lead to confusion when adding tracks to the folder, i.e., which "Folder"? .. So, maybe "Folder 01", "Folder 02", etc., for defaults..

RapidComposer v3.9b35 is available!

If you are using the 'Dark' color scheme, make sure you click on the Settings / User Interface / Theme menu and select "Dark" again to load the updated color scheme.

About the 'audio gain' sliders: for multiple tracks using the same VSTi plug-in instance, the tracks will control the same gain and show the same peak values. This is because each plug-in renders the audio in a single step, rather than track by track, so it is not possible to control gain separately for each track in RapidComposer.
Similarly, multiple tracks using the same soundfont MIDI channel will share the same gain and peak meter.

Improvements:

Peak meters displayed for SF2, VSTi and audio tracks
Audio Gain slider displayed for SF2, VSTi and audio tracks
New setting: "Display Audio Gain And Peak"
"Editing mode" menu replaced
Cosmetic change for sliders in the track header
A few buttons replaced by vector graphics
Fixed an issue when clicking on 'Join with next line': the top structure bar was not updated
Fixed a crash when dropping phrases on a folder track

with b35, on Mac OS High Sierra, only noise is output. Tried audio settings and other things, nothing works. b34 was ok.

white text on the yellow slider hard to see...

edit: changed to dark theme.. all is good.. actually can't get that color scheme back.. (yellow slider, white text)

EDIT: Can't change custom colors!

edit: Drag to empty folder still crashes

What do you mean you can't change custom colors?
I fixed another crashing bug when dragging to folder tracks. I hope all such issues are taken care of.
