YES they do
the NI sale was a one-off
There have been other sales as well, like when DIVA went on sale a while back. They also have surveys where they give you a sale price on their products, 20% I believe. So not a one off.

True, but not by 60% or 50% like some users want.

We have to admit, we have been spoiled by developers for giving us synths for almost for free with some of ocasional sales or magware. Notable mentions Waves Elements 2, U-He Tyrell N6 (i have read that it uses Diva's Juno modules), Kilohearts One, Surge.

I think they don't have sales nearly as much is because they don't have to. Their products are really the best and VERY well maintained.

That some one sold for 90 dollars because very badly needed money, doesn't mean it's a new resale value. Where you even came up with that.
I'm not talking about "someone who sold it for $90 because he very badly needed money", but about the average used sale price it was going for for some time. I've been here for a while, and always have a eye on the Sell & Buy forum.

It was going here for $90 to $100 for quite a while, and it only has been since a year or two that prices sky rocketed again. Definitely not normal.

As someone mentioned before there was a uhe and native instruments collaborative sale on which you could snag whole bundle of plugins. If you had the same plugin what do you do - sell it along with probably other 30 people. If your aim is to sell fast you just lower the price then other 30 people. That's what happened, but that was a long time ago, get over it, finished, you missed your chance :-)

The prices were already like that before the NI sale. Diva is from 2012 or so.

I don't remember them being so low, would've gladly bought it for that price. As a matter of fact when I bought Diva I checked for couple months the marketplace and didn't see anyone selling so cheap. Some were selling for 150eu which is not far full price.

Yes, that's what I was saying. The used prices are pretty ridiculous. Not just for Diva.

Any news on this? Come on Lennar Digital has a perfect system with Paypal instalments, I just started it it's flawless! No additional fees, no iLok, he's just smart enough to protect his plugin while making it available to us for 10 eur a month.

I'd be glad to finally purchase a legit copy of your plugin, Urs, but you really have to be more flexible. I know it's a lot of work to develop such plugins but come on we're in 2020. If I only had to purchase this one vst I would do it gladly but there's a lot more I need to buy every month, let alone bills and stuff.

Hope you will finally implement this.

I do agree that rent-to-own is an amazing way to sell a product, and I do wish more developers would go this route!
