This is one of those confusing issues. But in reality, 23:59 Monday is 1 minute before 0:00 Tuesday aka 12am Tuesday. Something to keep in mind for future sales.imrae wrote: Tue Sep 08, 2020 3:38 pm Yup, "12am on Tuesday" actually means "Monday" for practical purposes. This caught me out too![]()
Kazrog could have made it clearer perhaps by saying 11:59pm Monday.

Thanks. I missed it. Such a shame. I will wait for next sale, it seems...

Very useful tool, worth the regular price.

Indeed. it's thankfully not 2005 anymore when something like this would have been available for 200 bucks or more.

Same here. On monday the website said the sale would last till tuesday, so i delayed my purchase. I thought it should be clear that tuesday means the whole day for each time zone.
I'm not sure if its really useful for electronic music. Maybe it's more geared towards people doing acoustic recordings. In this short time frame i couldn't make my mind up about it.

I have no experience with Airwindows myself, but generally anything that adds or boosts harmonic content will do, so i'm quite positive there will be something more or less similar from AW, or other developers if you already happen to own a saturator plugin or two.
I don't even think True Iron is sounding remarkably analog. What makes it special(ized) compared to some other saturators is that it's very easy to stay within pretty subtle ranges as most of the dial ranges result in utter snake oil to still pretty subtle for the most part and it's easy on the CPU.
But you can imo do more or less the same stuff with other tools that don't go overboard with the distortion even at pretty low settings.

Transdesk is based on transistors not transformers.interstage is a kind of tonal, subtle slew based shaper.the closest thing to transformers would be his Console plugins(two transfer functions with the latter being inverted).if you stick a highpass filter between the two functions,it will give you a kind of transformer response/low end sensitive harmonic response

If not, would that make it a Decepticon?
