I stand corrected.
It does have the same plugin ID.
I upgrade spire on my mac, but not on my pc. did a little four bar thing on my pc and copied it to my mac.
It opened it up fine with 1.5, even though I had done it on the pc with 1.1

The PC keeps both 1.1 and 1.5 vst installed.

Updated and:
1. None of my sound banks load even after rescan.
2. AU version doesn't show in Ableton Live (but shows in Mac Plugin folder)

Downgraded to previous version of 1.5:
1. Didn't help.

Downgraded to 1.1.17:
1. VST works and can access all sound banks
2. AU still not showing in Ableton Live
