OK so criticism is now "abrasive behavior". It's fine if you can't take criticism, but then admit it. This is not about me in the least - wouldn't it be better for your business if you made the products appealing to as many people as possible (including visually impaired people)? No? OK.

I really think it would benefit Pulsar Modular to rethink their customer relations strategy. In my experience both their personal and general (forum, etc.) communication have been substandard. They have a great product (IMO) but it's overpriced and they seem to be very resistant to public feedback.EvilDragon wrote: Mon Sep 07, 2020 11:35 am OK so criticism is now "abrasive behavior". A well-behaved signature.

I see they released the price for the 914 Filterbank now – 250 Euro / 300 USD. 211 Euros / 250 USD for the 565T (four basic filters... not even an LFO).
They weren‘t kidding about the most expensive plugin on the market thing LOL
Lunar Lander was already priced comparatively high but that’s just taking the piss, especially since this is just re–released DSP but at 10 times the price. Seems like they looked at all the pricing complaints and decided to double down. I’m sure thatll work out great for them

a LONG time ago, I came to the realization that when purchasing ANY sort of technology (HW or SW) you really are not paying for the ownership... you are paying for the right to use it at THAT MOMENT IN TIME... approaching technology purchases with this in mind is a lot less painful than the notion that you paid X for something that 6mo later costs X * .2333 ;]simmo75 wrote: Wed Sep 09, 2020 10:05 pm Genuine question.
How do full price buyers of Lunar feel about it going to Plugin-Alliance, knowing it will be $29 at some point in the not to distant future?
...that said... I paid fool price and I have really loved the sounds that I can get out of Lunar Lander, and while I can say that I have had the privilege of ownership since 8/8/2020 - customer service and respect goes a LONG way as well. These guys, from what I've seen, don't have great "bedside manner" ... they DO however make an undeniably awesome delay/reverb unit.

Has any of the above mentioned products publish their results against the Moog inductor based 914? We have been working for the past 8 months on this. It is easy to reach the 80% mark emulating the sound; thereafter, it is an uphill battle. We will only release the product when we are true to the original. We will publish charts and audio samples against the original.El°HYM wrote: Tue Sep 08, 2020 2:16 pm Hmmm; Lets Do the Math:

The bottom line is: show me the frequency response. As an old Wendy’s advertisement said: where’s the beef!

"I wanted to send a love letter to DDMF. I loaded every Pultec EQP-1A3 emulation I could find. As it turned out, a few were similar, some added harmonic distortion reflecting their reference model, while another imparted a 2 dB curve despite all controls being set to zero. I strive to restrain my language in reviews, but there are a lot of plug-ins with marketing promises that are complete bullshit." I actually like the GUI. So it's a bit hard to read, I agree, but it's fun and it fits the style of the plugin. That said, it would be awesome to have an easier to read GUI as an option (just a suggestion to the dev).P900 wrote: Mon Sep 07, 2020 10:48 amAgain, I am not doing this product for you. I am not forcing you to like it, and there are literally tens of thousands of plugins you can choose from. No idea why you keep this abrasive behavior. Chill out, relax, enjoy some music, sun bath.EvilDragon wrote: Mon Sep 07, 2020 10:38 amImproved in what way? It still has that atrocious backdrop that impedes readability and makes it look cheap.![]()
