Improvising with a single granular e-bow patch from the sound library Palette for Pigments, available on patchpool.net. Automating the 4 assigned Macros and the modulation wheel in Logic X in a second pass, aftertouch was played live in the first pass.

Short patch description:

Each engine carries two e-bow samples, granular mode, split point E1: C3, E2: C4 (M2 for volume control) - M1 sets sample start and adjusts modulation depth (LFO1) for grain position accordingly, AT increases LFO speed and alters various granular parameters, M3 adds FM/RM modulation, M4 shifts focus to modulated HP filter in F2.

A vocal sequence patch (male overtone singing) from Palette for Pigments 2 - a short description is embedded in the video. Tweaking the 4 assigned Macros on the fly, modulation wheel action was recorded together with the Midi notes.
